One hour of tonight’s TCT program via KPFT, features dj x∃n as he presents a love letter to John Cage in celebration of his 100th birthday. His set ties directly into Cage’s work in the spirit of his free view of composition. dj x∃n gives you not 4’33″ but 67’49″ of Creative Commons licensed music — a garden of sound he jokingly calls “rusty cage.”
The program also includes work from Crepusculo, bemônio, HXDK, Ech(o) + Flat Affect, The Sugar Beats, Backyard Ghost, Stirner + Sue69, Black Circle Records, Ambienteer and more.
Tonight’s Lovecraftian and Cthulhu themed program via KPFT includes and is inspired by audio from The Ornery Theatre and experimental artists regularly heard on the program, including: Jack Hertz, Zreen Toyz, C. Reider, The Implicit Order, Flat Affect, Spidergod, Marax, Mousey the Elephant, Mystified and more.

The Chestnut Tree programs via KPFT and ∃ radio features a mix of conceptual field recordings and electronic music of Brandon Locher from his albums: Conversations 2012, Sleeping Music, Six Prepared Meditations, and more.
TWO different mixes will air this week: 2-5AM CST via KPFT with live streaming: HERE — and on ∃ radio Sunday night from 9-midnight PST.
The program is happy to announce that a more textural and noise filled branch of TCT will broadcast Sundays 9PM-midnight PST via ∃ radio, in addition to KPFT and Stillstream.com.
∃ radio is a new on-line station featuring experimental music, sound art and related works.

Our 12.01.2011 and 12.08.2011 programs featured audio from the short films of Rob Parrish [a four time Rosebud Film Festival winner] via his website Next To Heaven. He combines found public domain footage elaborately edited with original A/V material creating surreal weekly short films.
The program will combine the Creative Commons music of Christian Doil, Implicit Order, Kirill Platonkin, Mystified and Saluki Regicide with Parrish’s work. If you enjoy the audio, you will certainly want to see more.

The Samhain Session for The Chestnut Tree performed especially for the program by Akoustik Timbre Frekuency is a “23 minute atonal elektro-akoustik komposition that takes its influence from thee Ritual Muziks of Tibet. It was kreated on 31/10/2011 as part of a Kleansing Rite to release thee Daemons of repressed energies and channel myself into future Projekts. Thee definite marking of a Transitional Period within my life.
One upcoming Projekt is based on a series of CDs influenced by thee works of HP Lovecraft, which features readings of stories from both Lovecraft and more kontemporary prose and I will be providing thee bakground Muziks with Will Connor from Vultures Quartet. It will be released as a CD with a booklet kontaining thee stories next year with thee help of Simon Marshall-Jones. Thee stories will be read by Jake Harders.”
